What are the different using modes of EOlife X? #

EOlife X is used as a training tool for manual ventilation for adults (from 140 cm to 200 cm) or children (from 1 to 12 years) in different modes:

•  “30:2” or “15:2” mode – alternating between 30 (adults) or 15 (children) chest compressions followed by 2 ventilations.

• “Continuous” mode – continuous ventilation at a rate of 10 insufflations per minute (ERC and AHA guidelines recommend ventilating an adult patient with a cardiac arrest at a rate of 10 insufflations per minute while performing continuous cardiac massage).

• “Monitored” mode – the device provides feedback on the ventilation performance to the user in real time, such as the insufflated volume, tidal volume, ventilation rate and leaks accompanied by 5 alarms (excessive / low volume, high / low frequency, leakage).

• “Blind” mode – all the ventilation data is recorded in real-time to allow the follow-up of the ventilation performance.
