For many years we have focused our training primarily on the quality of chest compressions. However if we must perform high quality chest compression to enable blood circulation, it is mostly for the purpose of supplying the brain and the heart with oxygen. Now most of students and many experienced professionals struggle to perform adequate ventilation.
Out of 280 ventilation sessions conducted by 140 healthcare professionals, only 7.5% delivered an adequate volume.

Among 140 EMS-providers, Tidal Volume delivery improved by 70% when using EOlife X during training

Among 75 EMS providers, a 60% increase in AHA-compliant tidal volumes was observed during the ventilation of simulated pediatric CPR.
